ABOUT MANATEE STORM
The Manatee Storm is a non-profit organization founded April 15, 2005, dedicated
to building tradition by providing amateur youth student athletes
the opportunity to play competitive travel basketball.
The team colors are White, Black, and Vegas Gold.
Manatee Storm coaches are volunteers and maintain the highest standards in the coaching profession and
are both NCAA Certified and registered members of the American Coaches Association, Inc.
Our organization is affiliated with the Amateur Athletic Union of the U.S. Inc. (AAU),
United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), and Youth Basketball of America (YBOA).
Our program relies on the dedication of our community sponsors through donations to provide
our athletes with the best possible basketball experience. The Manatee Storm is recognized
as tax-exempt under the Amateur Athletic Union of the U.S. Inc.'s group 501(c)3 exemption
number 1155. Therefore, donations made to the Manatee Storm are deductible by donors for Federal
income tax purposes.
OUR MISSION
Offer a premier competitive basketball program to promote sportsmanship, team spirit, and good
citizenship, while experiencing competitive play among talented amateur youth student athletes
throughout the Southeastern United States.
OUR BELIEF

-Reach across ethnic and socioeconomic boundaries in order for
everyone to realize their talents.
